McCarthy the crooner

Ben and Kammy took great delight in reminding Goals on Sunday guest Mick McCarthy of the time he sang on a charity record, complete with snazzy jumper.

The Ipswich Town manager liked to belt out a song or two back in the day, and Goals on Sunday managed to source a clip of his 1991 cover of Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood's 1971 hit, 'Did You Ever?' with Linda Martin.

McCarthy takes his Tractor Boys to MK Dons next Saturday, live on Sky Sports as part of '10 in 10' - a television first this month that will see Sky Sports show 10 live Football League matches in 10 days, with Ian Holloway travelling across the country to follow the action.
