Midfielder completes move from Hearts

Ryan Stevenson has completed his move to Ipswich Town from Hearts for an undisclosed fee. Sky Sports reported yesterday that a fee of around £50,000 had been agreed for the midfielder. The 27-year-old scored 11 goals in 67 appearances for the Edinburgh club, but has not featured for over a month due to a dispute regarding payment of players' wages. The former Chelsea, St Johnstone and Ayr United player could make his debut on Tuesday against West Ham. Stevenson said: "I had a few other teams interested but when a club of the stature of Ipswich comes in for you, you take it. "It's a massive opportunity for me, too big to turn down and I can't wait to get going. "Playing in England has always been a big ambition of mine and to have a chance of playing for such a big club and alongside so many top players is fantastic."
