Keane helped England U19's reach the semi-finals of the 2012 UEFA European U19 Championship and made Gareth Southgate's U21s squad for the Euro finals in the Czech Republic last year.

He joined Burnley on loan from Manchester United in September 2014 before making a permanent switch on deadline day in the January 2015 transfer window in a deal running until summer 2018.
