Ashley Barnes insists Burnley are relishing the challenge of juggling Premier League football with a Europa League campaign

Ashley Barnes insists his Burnley team-mates are relishing the challenge of juggling Premier League football with a Europa League campaign.

The seventh-placed Clarets need just one point from their final two games to secure European football for the first time since 1967.

Burnley's ability to maintain their form into next season as well as competing in Europe has been questioned but Barnes is adamant they can rise to the challenge.

"Of course it will be difficult but it's another challenge we will be ready for," he told Goals on Sunday.

"It's going to be another tough season, we have still got two games left this year. Hopefully, we can finish on a high and come back next year ready.

"We obviously have to qualify for the group stages so it's going to be difficult but it's a challenge we look forward to.
