Sky Sports understands Burnley have invited non-league hot-shot Marvin Johnson back to Turf Moor for an extended trial. Johnson has found himself hot property after impressing at Northern Premier League First Division South side Romulus FC this season. The 20-year-old enjoyed a week training at Burnley last month and another Championship club are thought to have taken him on trial. A number of other clubs are thought to be monitoring Johnson's situation and Burnley are keen to head off the interest by taking him back on trial for a second time. Johnson, who has scored 20 goals for Romulus FC this term, is thought to have impressed during his first stint at Burnley. Clarets boss Eddie Howe is keen to cast an eye over the winger in training this week as he weighs up a move for Johnson in this month's transfer window.
