Brentford striker Andre Gray is having a medical ahead of proposed move to Burnley, according to Sky sources.

The Championship clubs are currently in talks and close to agreeing a deal at around £7m, and Gray is in the north-west undergoing a medical.

Gray rejected a move to Bristol City on Thursday after a disagreement over his personal terms, with a fee of £7m agreed between the clubs earlier this week.

Sky sources understand Gray was at Brentford's training on Thursday and that the intention was for him to be in Brentford's squad for their clash with Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday - but he could now line up for the home side instead.

Sky sources also understand Hull City retain an interest a player, who only signed for Brentford for £600,000 from Luton last summer, despite the Tigers having two previous bids for Gray turned down.

Hull initially offered a combined £8m for Gray and right-back Moses Odubajo, but the west London club rejected the offer on the grounds it did not meet Gray's valuation nor activated Odubajo's £3.5m release clause.

Hull subsequently completed a separate £3.5m deal for Odubajo and then returned with a second bid for Gray, which was also turned down because it did not meet the club's £7m valuation.
