Ivo Pinto to leave Norwich City this summer when contract ends

Ivo Pinto is to leave Norwich City when his contract expires in the summer, the club have confirmed.

The 29-year-old Portuguese right-back joined the Canaries in January 2016 from Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb and has since made 94 appearances in all competitions for the club.

Pinto is set to play his last game at Carrow Road on Monday in a celebration match for his former team-mates Wes Hoolahan and Russell Martin.

Pinto, who also captained the side last season, said: "It has been an amazing experience and I am really grateful.

"I love the club and the support the fans give the team and I am really glad the club is back where it belongs [in the Premier League]."

Norwich head coach Daniel Farke added: "I will always be thankful to Ivo for what he has done for us and I wish him from the bottom of my heart all the best.
