Watch the controversial goal and decide for yourself

Coventry City's Marc McNulty scored in controversial circumstances at Grimsby - was the goal fair or foul?

The incident occurred in the 63rd minute when Nathan Clarke seemingly rolled the ball back to goalkeeper James McKeown to take a free-kick, only for McNulty to take it and run towards goal before rolling into an empty net.

There were no questions about the second though, as Jack Grimmer rose highest at a corner to head in Coventry's second after 76 minutes and secure their second win in their opening two league games.

So was McNulty's goal clever opportunism or against the spirit of the game?
