Steven Caulker has left QPR by mutual consent, the Championship club have confirmed.
Caulker made just four appearances for QPR this season - and none since September - and has now become a free agent just days before the January transfer window opens.
QPR released a short statement on Twitter, saying: "Steven Caulker has left QPR by mutual consent with immediate effect. We wish him well for the future."
The 25-year-old signed for QPR in July 2014 and spent time on loan at Liverpool and Southampton in recent seasons.
Caulker broke into the England team for a brief period during his time at Tottenham, scoring on his only appearance - a 4-2 defeat to Sweden in 2012.
Caulker admitted earlier this year that he has suffered with drinking and gambling addictions, and that they became so serious that he even contemplated suicide.
