City stopper set to discuss terms with QPR

Sky Sports sources understand Queens Park Rangers have agreed a fee with Manchester City for defender Nedum Onuoha. The deal is believed to be worth around £3million and the 25-year-old is now free to discuss personal terms with the Loftus Road club. Onuoha spent last season with Sunderland and is well down City's pecking order having made one Premier League appearance this term. Rs boss Mark Hughes knows all about the former England Under-21 international having managed him during his time at City. QPR are currently two points clear of the drop zone and Hughes sees Onuoha as the man to help shore up the club's defence. Onuoha would become the club's third new signing this month following the loan captures of Manchester United striker Federico Macheda and AC Milan's Taye Taiwo.
