Leicester owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha has agreed to buy Oud-Heverlee Leuven, the Belgian club has confirmed.

Sky Sports News HQ revealed last week that a deal for King Power International to take over the Belgian Second Division club, also known as OHL, was under consideration.

Srivaddhanaprabha bought Leicester in 2010 and saw them win the Premier League title last season - he currently fills the role of chairman with son Aiyawatt as his vice-chairman.

A club statement read: "The takeover will be formally completed after the usual period of due diligence.

"The King Power group will keep community work a priority, as well as co-operating with the various supporters' groups and will further develop the youth programme, all in line with its major sporting ambition for the first team."
