Adrien Silva to stay at Leicester until end of season

Adrien Silva will remain at Leicester until the end of the season despite mounting interest in the Portugal international, Sky Sports News understands.

Silva was keen to leave the King Power Stadium in this window, having made just one Premier League start all season.

But Claude Puel is understood to be keen to hang on to Silva for the remainder of the campaign, as he sees the midfielder as part of his plans going forward.

Inter Milan were at the forefront of any possible deal, but Sky Sports News have been told that Leicester have received no firm bids for Silva.

Roma, Genoa, Lille, and Silva's former club Sporting are also reported to be interested in the 29-year-old.
