COLLY SET FOR TRIAL BY VIDEO

LEICESTER CITY striker Stan Collymore could be in hot water with the FA, after it emerged that they may be set to look into his reported clash with Everton`s Paul Gascoigne.

The two were said to have had a set-to during the 1-1 draw at Filbert Street on Sunday - with it being alleged that The Foxes forward stamped on, and later elbowed, Gascoigne.

An FA spokesman confirmed the likely procedure, saying: "The video panel reviews all incidents over the weekend and if something is being talked about they are likely to have a look at it.

"If they feel it merits our attention they would report it."

This is the latest in a catalogue of incidents that have blighted Collymore`s career. He made the switch to Filbert Street at the end of last season and made an immediate, goalscoring, impact before breaking his ankle against Derby County.

The 29-year-old clashed with new Leicester manager Peter Taylor, over the state of his fitness, but answered his critics with the clinching goal in the recent victory over Chelsea.

Collymore climbed off the bench on Sunday and hit the bar in the later stages, but this incident is sure to attract the unwanted attention of Taylor.

If found guilty, Collymore could face a hefty fine and lengthy ban.
