Piper signs new Foxes deal
The young flanker was one of the few bright spots in City's disastrous season, as he gave the side some much needed attacking impetus and pace in the latter half of the season.
Voted the club's Young Player of the Year, Piper made 18 appearances for The Foxes as well as another eight games while on loan at Mansfield Town.
Envious eyes were being cast at the pacey youngster, with a number of Premiership sides being linked to him.
Piper felt it would be better for his development to stay with his home-town club, though, and this news will be welcomed by Adams as he looks to build a team to bounce back to the top-flight at the first attempt.
All ready Piper has put his name in Leicester folklore by scoring the last ever goal at Filbert Street in their 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on the last day of the season.
