League One: Danny Wilson looking to strengthen his Barnsley squad
Monday 14 July 2014 12:34, UK
Barnsley manager Danny Wilson admitted his squad needs strengthening in all areas following the weekend defeat at Halifax.
The Reds lost 2-0 at the Shay, courtesy of goals from Halifax pair Matty Pearson and Scott Boden.
"It was disjointed," Wilson told the club's official website. "You can take one or two things out of the game, but not a great deal. It was more about getting some match practice in.
"We've seen areas that we need to strengthen. No matter how much you try to fill gaps sometimes it can be like putting square pegs in round holes and that is something we have to make sure we identify and bring players in to cover those areas.
"We know we need someone for the right-back position as well as looking at the midfield and striking positions."
