Hull are favourites to sign Wales' Euro 2016 star Hal Robson-Kanu, according to Sky sources.

The forward is a free agent after leaving Reading in May and saw his stock rise thanks to two goals on Wales' run to the semi-finals in France, including a goal-of-the-tournament contender against Belgium.

And it is understood Hull have offered Robson-Kanu assurances about first-team football and a guarantee he will be picked in his preferred position of striker.

Two other Premier League clubs have shown an interest in the 27-year-old, but neither has yet made a firm offer.

Robson-Kanu was on Arsenal's books as a youngster but was released and instead joined Reading, where he made more than 200 appearances in nine years and helped the club win promotion in 2012.
