Hull City lose Markus Henriksen for up to three months with shoulder injury

Hull City midfielder Markus Henriksen has been ruled out for up to three months with a shoulder injury suffered in the EFL Cup semi-final with Manchester United on Tuesday.

The Norway international met with a consultant on Thursday and scans show damage serious enough to keep him out until mid-March at the earliest.

A statement on the Hull website read: “We wish Markus well with his recovery.”

Henriksen had made six Premier League appearances this season, five of them off the bench.
