Hull boss Marco Silva was delighted the performance of his side after they held Manchester United to a 0-0 draw in the Premier League at Old Trafford.
United dominated for large passages on Wednesday night, but the Tigers managed to hold on for a rare clean sheet, and even had opportunities to win the game themselves.
"We had a very good performance, played as a team and for me we showed our supporters big character and very good organisation," Silva told Sky Sports.
"When we needed to suffer we suffered as a team and in some moments we showed good quality and character.
"In the second half we had two very good chances to score. But we deserved this result, if you win it's better and I think in the next game we'll score.
"I'm happy with the bravery, attitude and spirit, but it's only one point and we need more to achieve our goal [of staying up]."
Silva opted to continue in goal with Eldin Jakupovic, leaving David Marshall on the bench on Wednesday night. The Hull boss, however, knows he'll have the Scottish goalkeeper to call upon if he needs him.
"David played the first games [I took charge of] in the Premier League, and I know when I need him again he's ready to play at a good level," he said. "We have three very good goalkeepers and I need to take these decisions."
