Egyptian frontman returns to Zamalek

Amr Zaki's fruitless loan spell at Hull City has come to an end prematurely due to injury. The Zamalek striker has made just six appearances for the Tigers since joining in January and failed to score a single goal. And, after suffering a knee injury during his time at the KC Stadium, Hull boss Iain Dowie has found the Egyptian surplus to requirements and sent him home. "Hull coach Iain Dowie officially informed Zaki that his loan deal came to an end," agent Nader Shawki told FilGoal. "Zaki will return to Cairo on Sunday to join up with Zamalek. "Zaki needs 10 more days to complete his recovery, so it would be very difficult for Dowie to rely on him during the remaining games of the season because he will not be fully fit."
