Tom Pearce has signed a contract extension with Leeds United, keeping him at the club until 2022.
The left-back, whose current deal was due to expire this summer, has committed his future to Elland Road in a four-year deal.
Pearce scored once in five Championship appearances in his debut season and was nominated for Leeds' Young Player of the Year.
The 20-year-old progressed since joining the academy from Everton in 2014, and was handed his debut against Sheffield United in March after strong performances at U23 level.
An England U21 call-up came after a man-of-the-match performance against Barnsley.
Currently managerless, Leeds finished in 13th place last season, 15 points off the play-off places.
Pearce is away on England duty at the Toulon tournament and said: "Delighted to have signed a new four-year deal. Thank you to everyone at the club and the fans for your support."
