Leeds striker Ryan Edmondson signs new three-year deal to stay at the club until 2021
The 17-year-old joined the club from York City in November 2017, having made his senior debut for the National League North side in the previous month.
After impressing for the Under-18s and Under-23s, Edmondson was given his Leeds first-team debut on the final day of the 2017/18 season.
He came on as a 74th-minute substitute in their 2-0 win against QPR at Elland Road.
Edmondson continued to train with the first team throughout pre-season and will be hoping to become part of new manager Marcelo Bielsa's plans.
The striker is a lifelong Leeds fan and his new deal runs until June 2021.
Leeds beat Stoke 3-1 in their first game of the new Championship season. Their next game is away to Frank Lampard's Derby on Saturday evening, live on Sky Sports.
