Whites striker to gain experience on loan at Saltergate
Chesterfield have added Leeds United striker Davide Somma to their squad on loan until the New Year.
The American, who has scored four goals in as many reserve appearances for United this season, will remain with the League Two club until 2nd January.
His sole first-team appearance for Leeds came as a substitute in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy against Darlington and manager Simon Grayson feels Somma will benefit from the loan spell.
Grayson told the club's
official website: "David has done well since coming in at the start of the season.
"He's scored a few goals and he's been around the first-team squad.
"Hopefully this will give him an opportunity to be more involved in a first-team environment. The experience will be good for both Davide and the club."
