Leeds skipper Robert Snodgrass has scooped a player of the year double after being chosen for the award by both fans and his team-mates.

Leeds skipper Robert Snodgrass has scooped a player of the year double after being chosen for the award by both fans and his team-mates. Winger Snodgrass won both prizes ahead of fellow Scot Ross McCormack, who finished the season as the club's leading scorer with 19 goals. Central defender Tom Lees pipped winger Aidy White to the club's young player of the year award. Snodgrass, a virtual ever-present for Leeds this season, making 47 appearances and scoring 14 goals, has been offered an improved contract by the club. The 24-year-old, made captain by manager Neil Warnock, is out of contract at the end of next season and Leeds have offered him a new deal that would make him their highest paid player.
