Striker gets two-year deal

Sky Sports understands Leeds United striker Billy Paynter has agreed a two-year deal with Doncaster Rovers. The 28-year-old has never been in the first-team picture at Elland Road under Neil Warnock, and took in a loan spell last season at Brighton. This summer has seen Blackpool show an interest, but Dean Saunders has always wanted the former Swindon forward and he has now got his man. Paynter has agreed a two-year deal and is due to put pen-to-paper with Rovers on Monday.
