The turbulence which has engulfed Leeds in recent months will not have an adverse effect on the current squad, according to former striker Dominic Poleon.

Owner Massimo Cellino continues to wield the axe at Elland Road after bringing Darko Milanic's time as manager to an end after just 32 days in charge.

His short-term stint followed a similarly brief spell by David Hockaday, who started the season in the position, with Cellino certainly living up to his billing as "the manager eater".

However, while outsiders may think the constant upheaval would disrupt the Whites' players, Poleon claims it has had a completely opposite effect.

The 21-year-old left Elland Road for Oldham on transfer deadline day, and said: "Leeds have the same ethic that we have here.

"It was very tight-knit. Everything was very together, even with all the chops and changes that did happen at Leeds - that made the group even more tight-knit.

"Coming here, that's helped me - it's family-orientated and tight-knit."
