Huddersfield 1-0 Luton
Tuesday 27 January 2026 22:20, UK
Huddersfield claimed a 1-0 win with 10 men for the second game in a row under Liam Manning thanks to Ryan Ledson's sensational strike from his own half against Luton.
Days after holding on to beat local rivals Bradford after Marcus McGuane's second-half dismissal, the Terriers shrugged off Alfie May's 29th-minute red card to record another victory under their new manager.
Their positive start to the game was abruptly halted by May's straight red card for pulling Kasey Palmer's hair.

That turned the momentum of the match in Luton's favour - and yet it was the hosts who went ahead in stunning style just three minutes into the second half.
Skipper Ledson successfully caught Josh Keeley off his line with a first-time shot from just inside his own half.
Radinio Balker went close to doubling the lead from a corner 10 minutes later, but his header bounced over off the top of the crossbar.
Luton pushed for an equaliser, but came up empty-handed after Jordan Clark was denied by a smart Lee Nicholls save and Lynden Gooch cleared a ricocheting ball off the line in a penalty box scramble.
