York v Doncaster preview

Image: Russ Wilcox: York boss has duo available again

York pair Vadaine Oliver and Dave Winfield will both return to contention for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie against Doncaster following suspension.

Striker Oliver has served his three-match ban for his dismissal in the recent home draw against Carlisle, while defender Winfield missed Saturday's 2-2 draw with Cambridge after reaching five yellow cards.

Rhys Turner is ineligible having featured for parent club Oldham in the previous round so Reece Thompson could return to the side.

Jake Hyde remains sidelined following a double hernia operation and boss Russ Wilcox may decide to rest fellow forward Michael Coulson following his surprise return on Saturday following groin surgery.

Doncaster will be without defender Luke McCullough due to his call-up into the Northern Ireland squad.

The centre-half returned to the starting line-up in Saturday's home win against Barnsley following a knee injury but will now miss the next two matches.

Interim boss Rob Jones is ruled out with a hamstring injury and another central defender, Gary MacKenzie, sits out the final game of his three-match ban.
