Coventry remain a point clear of Gillingham at the top of Sky Bet League 1 after both teams were held to 2-2 draws on Saturday afternoon.
The Sky Blues looked set for victory over Doncaster when John Fleck scored before the hour after goals from Adam Armstrong and Nathan Tyson had made it 1-1, but Tyson struck again 18 minutes from time to salvage a point for Rovers.
The Gills also led 2-1 heading into the final quarter of the game, but had to settle for a similar result at Shrewsbury.
Justin Edinburgh's side trailed 1-0 thanks to Adedeji Oshilaja's 31st-minute own goal at New Meadow. They turned things around through goals from Cody McDonald (37) and Ryan Jackson (59), but James Collins secured a point for Town with a 70th-minute leveller.
Gillingham were joined on 38 points by Burton Albion, who enjoyed a 5-1 stroll against managerless Colchester.
They made a bad start - Charlton loanee Callum Harriott finding the bottom corner from 20 yards to put the visitors ahead at the Pirelli Stadium - but Nasser El Khayati, Mark Duffy, Tom Naylor, Lucas Akins and Timmy Thiele all scored to turn the game on its head for Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's promotion-chasers.
Milan Lalkovic hit the late winner as fourth-placed Walsall posted a 2-1 win against Bradford. Tom Bradshaw had earlier put the hosts ahead at Bescot Stadium, only to see the advantage wiped out by Lee Evans' 64th-minute equaliser.
Southend and fifth-placed Wigan battled out a goalless draw, while Peterborough climbed to sixth with a 4-0 triumph at Scunthorpe, with Millwall moving up to seventh after squeezing past Bury 1-0.
Conor Washington's hat-trick spurred the Posh, with Michael Bostwick also on target at Glanford Park with a 49th-minute penalty, and Shaun Williams netted the crucial goal for the Lions at the Den.
Nathan Pond's own goal proved decisive as Blackpool edged Fleetwood 1-0 at Bloomfield Road for only their fifth three-point haul of the season.
Swindon cruised to a 4-0 success at Chesterfield, Nick Ajose starting and finishing the scoring with Louis Thompson and Jonathan Obika on the scoresheet in between.
Adam King's 21st-minute strike earned Crewe a 1-0 victory over Oldham in a clash between two of the bottom four while Rochdale fought from a goal down to overcome Port Vale 2-1.
Chris Birchall had put the visitors ahead at Spotland, but Ian Henderson equalised from the spot five minutes before the interval and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing grabbed the winner 12 minutes from time.
Vale's misery was compounded deep in stoppage time when Carl Dickinson was sent off for a second bookable offence.
In the early game, Conor Hourihane atoned for a penalty miss by equalising deep into stoppage time to rescue a point for Barnsley in a 1-1 draw with Sheffield United at Oakwell.
Chris Basham struck first for the Blades, the former Blackpool player finding the net in the 16th minute with a header from a Bob Harris corner.
Hourihane's penalty - awarded following Neill Collins' foul on Hammill - on the hour mark was well saved by George Long and after Sam Winnall went close to equalising late on - heading against a post - Hourihane levelled with a superb strike at the death.
