Chesterfield have signed winger Reece Mitchell from Chelsea on a two-year deal.

Mitchell, 20, who failed to make the first-team breakthrough with Chelsea after joining them aged 11, was out of contract at Stamford Bridge.

London-born Mitchell is a former Enlgand Under-16 international and helped Chelsea win the FA Youth Cup in 2012. He returned from a broken leg to be part of Chelsea's Under-21 squad when they won the Premier League title in 2014.
