Rico Henry's shoulder injury is not as bad as first feared but the left-back will still miss Walsall's visit of Charlton.

The defender dislocated his shoulder in last week's 0-0 draw at Oldham but does not need surgery with boss Jon Whitney expecting him to return in a few weeks.

Adam Chambers will continue to be assessed with the midfielder still struggling with a hamstring injury which has forced him out.

Erhun Oztumer (back) has returned to training while Isaiah Osbourne could feature on Saturday after missing Tuesday's 2-0 defeat at Chesterfield.

Skipper Johnnie Jackson is a worry for Charlton after he was substituted in midweek after feeling his hamstring.

The Addicks were 3-0 winners against Shrewsbury on Tuesday but the win may have come at a price, with boss Russell Slade confirming Jackson is not the only concern.

He was playing his cards close to his chest but said: "We've got a few who we've had the medical department take a look at. We have two or three issues before Saturday."
