Town bring defender back to club

Yeovil Town have signed free-agent Andy Lindegaard on a month-long deal. The Yeovil-born defender began his career at Huish Park, making over 150 appearances before leaving for Cheltenham Town in 2007. But following his release by the Robins at the end of last season, Lindegaard is delighted to have rejoined Yeovil. "It's great to be back at Yeovil," the 28-year-old told the club's official website. "I've had some great memories at Huish Park and I hope to add to those." Yeovil boss Terry Skiverton is looking forward to seeing what the stopper can do in the coming month. He added: "I've been monitoring Andy's situation over the summer and signing him for a month suits both parties and I know Andy will do a job for us if called upon." Yeovil have confirmed the signing of Lindegaard on the eve of their League One opener at home to Tranmere.
