Oldham have signed Jim Goodwin on a month-long loan from League One rivals Huddersfield ahead of Saturday's clash at Hartlepool. The 28-year-old midfielder has struggled to nail down a regular place in the side. Goodwin has made just seven appearances for the Terriers this season. He is likely to go straight into Dave Penney's squad to face Pools.
