Chesterfield defender Charlie Raglan has signed a one-year contract extension to his contract.
Raglan, signed from FC United of Manchester in April 2014, had 12 months remaining on his existing deal but the Sky Bet League One club have now secured his services until the summer of 2017.
The 22-year-old said: "I'm delighted to have got everything sorted out just before the start of the season. I've enjoyed my time at the club and I'm really happy here.
"The manager was a big factor in my decision to commit myself to a further year because he spoke to me soon after he took over and told me how he could improve me as a player."
Raglan made 25 appearances last season as Chesterfield reached the play-offs on their return to the third tier.
Meanwhile, the Spireites have completed the signing of goalkeeper Alex Cairns, midfielder Dion Donohue and teenage forward Jake Orrell.
Cairns, released by Leeds at the end of last season, has agreed a short-term deal until January 2, 2016 while both Donohue and Orrell have put pen to paper on one-year agreements.
