Scunthorpe forward Darius Henderson has had his contract with the club cancelled by mutual consent.
Henderson, 34, joined Scunthorpe on a free transfer in the summer following his release from Leyton Orient, but has been restricted to 16 appearances for the club and only five league starts due to injury.
"The club would like to place on record their thanks to Darius and wish him all the very best in the future," Scunthorpe said on their official website.
Henderson started out at Reading and has had previous spells at Gillingham, Swindon, Watford, Sheffield United, who paid £2million for him in 2008, and Nottingham Forest.
