Forest striker could be out for eight weeks with fractured metatarsal

Nottingham Forest striker Ishmael Miller is facing up to eight weeks on the sidelines after suffering a fractured metatarsal. Miller picked up the injury when appearing as a second-half substitute in the 4-0 home defeat by Leeds United at the end of last month. It was the 24-year-old's first appearance for Forest in a month after he had been forced on to the sidelines by a hernia operation. He will now be out of action until around the end of January after scans confirmed the extent of the forward's injury. Miller, who joined Forest from West Bromwich Albion in the summer, has scored four goals in 15 appearances for the Championship strugglers.
