Defender seals move to Madejski Stadium

Sky Sports understands Chris Gunter has completed his move to Reading from Nottingham Forest. As revealed by Sky Sports earlier on Tuesday, the Wales international was undergoing a medical at Reading after they agreed a fee with Forest for the full-back's services. Gunter has passed his medical at the Madejski Stadium and penned a three-year deal with the Premier League new-boys. The 22-year-old has been a long-term target for the Royals, who had a bid for the player rejected in May. The former Tottenham man is Reading's second signing of the day after they completed a move for Watford defender Adrian Mariappa.
