Oldham are aware of a winding-up petition brought against them by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs and insist they are "dealing with it".

The Sky Bet League One club, who remain without a manager following John Sheridan's recent departure for Notts County, claim the liability on which the HMRC petition is based was paid in full last month.

A statement published on oldhamathletic.co.uk said the Latics' legal advisors were addressing the petition which was scheduled for Monday, June 20.
