Fletcher converted Elliot Newby's cross in the first minute of stoppage time after Latics skipper Tom Pett appeared to have rescued a point for the in-form visitors.

Barrow stay in the relegation zone, a point from Newport in 22nd, although their position could have been even worse but for an amazing conclusion.

Oldham, beaten for a second successive game, led from the 49th minute when Wigan loanee Kai Payne converted a cross from Jamie Robson.
