Summer signing Elliott Nevitt opened his scoring account for Oldham in a 3-0 home victory against Swindon.
Nevitt, 29, who was released by Gillingham, struck the opening goal in the 41st minute, a low drive into the bottom corner from just inside the penalty area with Calum Kavanagh providing the assist.
Oldham sealed victory in the 84th minute through Kavanagh's penalty which was awarded when keeper Connor Ripley brought down substitute Mike Fondop, who burst clean through on goal.

And Fondop added the gloss with a third goal five minutes into stoppage time with a spectacular strike from outside the box into the top corner.
Oldham could have won by a wider margin as in the opening half they had 10 goal attempts to Swindon's three.
They continued to dominate in the second period when Ripley pulled off an amazing save to keep out a close-range header from Gus Scott-Morris.
Micky Mellon's side maintained their 100 per cent home record with two wins out of two without conceding a goal as they inflicted Swindon's first league defeat.
