Striker looking forward to playing after signing two-year deal
Oldham Athletic have finalised the signing of Northern Ireland international Warren Feeney on a two-year contract.
Feeney was attracting interest from a host of clubs after his release by Cardiff City, but he has opted for a move to Boundary Park.
The Latics fended off competition from teams in the Championship and League One to land the striker, who is looking forward to making an impact.
"I just want to play games and enjoy my football again," Feeney told the club's
official website.
"I met the lads this morning and trained with the Latics squad and I thought...Yes this is the club for me."
Feeney becomes new Oldham manager Paul Dickov's second signing after the recent capture of Ritchie Jones from Hartlepool United.
