Alan Curtis remains at Swansea helm for match against Norwich

Swansea first-team coach Alan Curtis will again be in charge for Saturday's Premier League fixture against Norwich at the Liberty Stadium as Francesco Guidolin remains in hospital.

Guidolin has been hospitalised with a chest infection since Wednesday - and missed the midweek win over Arsenal - but he will pick the team for Saturday's game.

"He remains in a comfortable position and is making good progress, but doctors have advised that he misses this weekend's game to continue his recovery," read a statement on the club's website.

"He is expected to remain in hospital over the weekend before his release. Everyone at Swansea City continue to wish him a speedy recovery."

Curtis added: "Francesco has picked the team like last Wednesday, but once the game starts I have the power to change things if we need to. I've not spoken to him as I don't want to bother him because he's resting.

"But I'll speak to him before the game and the most important thing is we win. Putting two or three wins together at any stage of the season is important, especially at this stage."

Curtis' changes certainly worked at Arsenal as he tinkered with the system at 1-0 down and goals from Wayne Routledge and Ashley Williams gave Swansea an excellent win to move them six points clear of the drop zone.
