Swansea have "reluctantly decided" not to appeal against Jordan Ayew's red card at Huddersfield on Saturday.
Ayew was sent off by referee Michael Oliver for an 11th-minute challenge on Terriers midfielder Jonathan Hogg.
The Swans held on for a 0-0 draw with 10 men and manager Carlos Carvalhal later suggested the decision was harsh.
But a club statement read: "Swansea City have reluctantly decided against appealing the red card shown to Jordan Ayew at Huddersfield on Saturday.
"The Swans were conscious that if an appeal is deemed frivolous by the Football Association, suspensions can be extended."
Carvalhal said after the game: "In the moment, in my opinion in front of me at the time, it was not a red card.
"Afterwards, when I watched it again I saw two players try to win the ball with exactly the same movements.
"They tackled each other, it was dangerous, but they both did it. We must respect the decision."
Ayew, Swansea's top scorer, has been in fine form since Carvalhal was appointed at the end of December.
The 26-year-old Ghana striker has scored six times under Carvalhal, taking his tally for the season to 10.
Ayew will be banned for three matches and will miss Swansea's first FA Cup quarter-final for 54 years at home to Tottenham on Saturday, as well as the Premier League trips to Manchester United and West Brom.
