Former Birmingham loanee aims to impress Rodgers
Swansea City have offered Dutch midfielder Kemy Agustien the opportunity to earn a contract with the Championship club.
Agustien is currently available on a free transfer after being released by AZ Alkmaar and is joining up with Swansea during their pre-season trip to Holland.
The former Under 21 international made 20 appearances during a season-long loan at Birmingham in 2008/09 and Swans boss Brendan Rodgers is keen to give Agustien a chance to impress.
"He is a great talent who has had a few injury problems recently," Rodgers told the club's
official website.
"But he comes highly recommended by my contacts at home and abroad and he is certainly worth a closer look."
The 23-year-old spent last term on loan at RKC Waalwijk before being let go by AZ and will be hoping to convince Rodgers he is worth a deal
