Premier League: Swansea midfielder Leon Britton closing on comeback

Swansea midfielder Leon Britton has taken another step forward in his recovery from a knee injury.
The 32-year-old is yet to make a competitive appearance for the Swans this term after sustaining severe bruising on his knee during pre-season.
But a statement on Swansea's website on Thursday said of Britton: "His recovery stepped up a gear this week as he is now going through running drills with a view of returning to first-team training soon."
Apart from half a season spent at Sheffield United in the 2010/11 campaign, Britton has been with Swansea since 2002, having initially been on loan from West Ham where he started his career as a trainee.
