Highlights of the Sky Bet League Two match between Shrewsbury Town and Tranmere Rovers.

Shrewsbury piled more misery on Tranmere with a 1-0 victory at New Meadow.

Rovers sit just three points above the League Two relegation zone after Sam Stubbs scored the only goal of the contest.

Rovers boss Pete Wild is still waiting for his first win since taking charge last month having overseen four games of a nine-match winless run.

The draw at Fleetwood in his first match at the helm remains Tranmere's only point since mid February and they have just one win from their previous 16 outings.

Stubbs went close to opening the scoring when he nodded over the crossbar before Rovers goalkeeper Marko Marosi produced an excellent save to keep out Bradley Ihionvien's beautifully struck effort.

Josh Ruffels should have done better when he fired over from Ismeal Kabia's cut back on the stroke of half-time.

Stubbs stuck 10 minutes after the restart as he rose highest to nod home Kevin Berkoe's pin-point cross.

Tranmere huffed and puffed but failed to pinch a point.

Home goalkeeper Matthew Cox produced a moment of brilliant to keep out Billy Blacker from point-blank range and Ruffels was in the right place to head Blacker's effort off the line.
