Millwall youngster Ben Thompson pens new contract

Millwall defender Ben Thompson has extended his stay at The Den by signing a contract extension which runs until the summer of 2017.
The 20-year-old joined the club's academy at the age of 16 and has impressed so far this season making 15 appearances for the first team.
Thompson is a lifelong Lions fans and is hoping that he can become a solid member of the first team.
He told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to have extended my contract.
"I'm really enjoying being part of the first team, training and playing with a great set of lads and learning from the management team.
"Hopefully I can push into the starting XI more and more in the coming months and make a positive impact on and off the pitch."
Millwall's manager Neil Harris believes the 20-year-old has a bright future with the club.
He said: "It is important for us that we tie our best young players down.
"Ben's new contract with us is just reward for his performances, his dedication, his commitment and his desire to improve and he has earned this."
