Wright and Connor join Scunthorpe
Newly-promoted Scunthorpe United have made their first two signings of the summer in the shape of Josh Wright and Michael O'Connor.
Wright has penned a two-year deal after being released by Charlton Athletic while O'Conner has joined from Crewe on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
19-year-old midfielder Wright impressed on loan with Gillingham last season making eight appearances in all competitions, including their League Two play-off final win over Shrewsbury.
O'Connor brings a wealth of experience to the Glanford Park outfit after making more than 80 appearances for The Railwayman, scoring three goals.
Ironically one of those goals came from the penalty spot against The Iron in January when the relegated side secured a last-gasp 3-2 success.
