Shrewsbury earned a first away point of the season thanks to an opportunist goal from George Lloyd in a 1-1 draw at local rivals Crewe.
Jordan Gibson's far-post header had the Railwaymen in front midway through the first half, but the Shrews were back on level terms when Lloyd brushed past home goalkeeper Tom Booth to fire in before the interval.
Luca Hoole offered the first threat of the game for Shrewsbury when he cut in on the right of the box and drove an effort into the side-netting.
Gavin Cowan's side were the more enterprising side in the opening half but fell behind in the 24th minute after a neat interchange between Jack Lankester and the lively Joel Tabiner.

The latter was set free and he lofted a pinpoint cross over the face of goal for Gibson to head home.
The visitors were level in the 39th minute when Lloyd reacted quickest as Booth came out to collect Lewis Billington's under-hit headed backpass, nipping in to fire into an empty net.
Shrewsbury maintained their momentum after the break, although Isaac Lee sent a free header straight at Booth.
At the other end, Will Brook punched away a thumping free-kick from Gibson.
Shrews threatened in the closing minutes as Hoole sent a header against a post from a long free-kick.
Substitute Calum Agius thought he had grabbed a stoppage-time winner for Crewe, with the striker firing in off a post only for his effort to be ruled out for offside.
