Soccer Saturday caught up with Gillingham's two giant goalkeepers Tomas Holy and Tom Hadler, who were once rivals but are now the best of friends.
"I was big Tom until he turned up," joked Hadler, the 6ft 2in 22-year-old who currently serves as backup at Priestfield, having come through the youth setup at the club.
"When Thomas saw me, for the first time he was so angry!" replied Holy, the 6ft 9in Czech who joined from Sparta Prague in 2017.
Despite both competing for the No 1 spot at the club, the two have turned into the best of friends in the process, and help push each other to new heights for themselves and Gillingham.
Holy is set to start in goal for the club as they face Swansea at the Liberty Stadium in the FA Cup on Saturday, having kept a clean sheet against Premier League side Cardiff in the previous round.
