Highlights of Northampton against Crawley in Sky Bet League Two.

Ten-man Northampton were pegged back to a 1-1 draw by Crawley at Sixfields.

Nathan Opoku steered the Cobblers ahead in the first half but Lee Evans then saw red before Dion Pereira came off the bench to rescue a point for the away side.

Joe O'Brien-Whitmarsh blazed over when an early chance presented itself before Sam Hoskins saw a shot blocked as the hosts made the brighter start.

Crawley grew into the game and dominated possession for much of the first half, but they were hit by a sucker-punch seven minutes before the break when O'Brien-Whitmarsh flicked on Evans' cross and Opoku spun his defender and poked in.

Home goalkeeper Zach Jeacock pawed away Osman Kamara's low effort late in the first half before Northampton were reduced to 10 men when Evans saw red for a lunge shortly after half-time.

Crawley didn't take long to capitalise as Pereira pounced on defensive hesitancy to level, and they almost completed the turnaround when Klaudio Krasniqi struck the woodwork.
